VERY quick message to remind you that Miss Perry Presents King Charles is not tonight as first scheduled but now a month later on MARCH 25TH. This was due to the King having quite a nasty accident and spending some time recouperating in hospital. He is well and we can’t wait to welcome him at the Hare and Hounds in a months time.
The lineup of Malpas and Tom Peel in support remains the same and all original tickets are still valid.
Please feel free to message me through myspace or facebook if you have any questions..thanks so much..it’s going to be an amazing show..
Miss Perry xx
ps…MORE amazing acts to be announced imminently…just crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s on all the last minute contracts…honestly..we’re going to have a fun spring!!
Miss Perry is all a-flustered!
Here’s the latest diary of events for you to digest…
January 28th - The Boy Who Trapped The Sun with support from Boat to Row
Going to be absolutely beautiful…a sit down, red wine affair…
Next up is Band of Skulls who return for their second Miss Perry Presents outing…
then…3 days later…Rich, Hamish, Wayne and Geoff return to the Hare and Hounds..
Animal Kingdom play their second Miss Perry outing too…with a great great local support line up too…celestial brum beauty!
And then merely the week after, we see the much coveted King Charles travel from London to the Hare and Hounds to play an incredible special show….
you can see why the poor poppet is flustered…and still many more incredible bookings coming through for March, April and May. All work Miss Perry undertakes is a joint venture with Carlo Solazzo from Birmingham Promoters…www.myspace.com/birminghampromoters
Please see seetickets.com for all ticket links, prices and availability. And thank you, again, for all your support to great British music and the independent music venue. Your support is invaluable, and the vibe at these events is everything I’d dreamed of. Miss P xxx
IT’S HERE!! THE NEXT ANNOUNCEMENT! I saw King Charles play at Ben Lovetts (Mumford & Sons) night, Communion, at Notting Hill Arts Centre a few months back, and was transfixed..SUCH an incredible mixture of styles and ideas..intelligent hooks, imaginative orchestration and, what a frontman! I’ve been playing some tracks, Mr Flick and Love Lust whilst out djing and on Kerrang! radio, and the response is ALL POSITIVE! I urge you to trust me on this one and come and see something different, brilliant, and exciting.
King Charles played many introducing stages last year at the summer festivals but I think 2010 is set for something very big for the next wave of talent coming out of London. Here’s the myspace linkage: www.myspace.com/kingcharlesuk
