I saw King Charles play at Ben Lovetts (Mumford & Sons) night, Communion, at Notting Hill Arts Centre a few months back, and was transfixed..SUCH an incredible mixture of styles and ideas..intelligent hooks, imaginative orchestration and, what a frontman! I’ve been playing some tracks, Mr Flick and Love Lust whilst out djing and on Kerrang! radio, and the response is ALL POSITIVE! I urge you to trust me on this one and come and see something different, brilliant, and exciting.

So….on Thursday 29th October, I met the massively talented Animal Kingdom for soundcheck at the Hare and Hounds. I’ve been playing their single Signs and Wonders on Q Radio, and was so thrilled to be able to promote them up in Birmingham at Miss Perry Presents. The album is fast becoming a ‘most played’ on my iTunes and their live set was pretty impeccable. And to top it all off, they are some of the nicest people I’ve met recently - we all stayed up late putting the world to rights, but if this world WAS all hunky dory, their album would be floating around the top 20 somewhere. EVENTUALLY! Miss Perry uploads the photos from the first ever Miss Perry Presents… The incredible Pulled Apart By Horses opened the residency with a performance that shook the not-knowing-what-to-expect audience to the core. Since then the band have played most summer festivals in the UK, toured Europe and most recently been on the road with Biffy Clyro. They are set for huge things and rightly so.
